Do What You Love

Do What You Love

Do What You Love is for anyone who'd like to make a living doing something they love. Or if you're already doing that and want to spread the word, do it here! Do What You Love is another name for the Green and Digital Business Programme run by Knowle West Media Centre and re:work. The programme aims to create jobs for local people starting up inventive new enterprises that help create the neighbourhood we want to live in.

Eagle House Pop-Up Furniture Factory

A pop-up furniture factory will open its doors this autumn, offering training and employment for Knowle West residents. The Furniture Factory will be hiring two local residents as paid trainees, as well as offering volunteering opportunities. There will also be a series of workshops where people can learn about digital manufacturing techniques and make something that they can take away. Equipment will include a CNC milling machine and a laser cutter. We hope that the pop-up factory will lead to routes into sustainable employment for local people. There will be lots of opportunities to get involved in this exciting and practical programme. For more details contact or on 0117 903 0444
